West Ham legend Julian Dicks is set to join Slaven Bilic at West Brom.

The Daily Star says Bilic is hoping he can persuade the 50-year-old to join him at the Championship club.

Dicks could be installed quickly as news emerged that Jimmy Shan has left the club after stepping up into the top job following the sacking of Darren Moore.

Former academy coach Shan took the reins at the end of the season and was in charge for Albion's Championship play-off semi-final defeat to Aston Villa.

Shan was first team coach before being asked to take control of first team affairs following Moore's shock departure.
