West Ham legend Paolo di Canio has continued his tirade against Chelsea striker Romelu Lukau.
The 28-year-old failed to get his name on the scoresheet against Tottenham on Sunday, though was praised by manager Thomas Tuchel after the 2-0 win.
“A player like Lukaku must do better in some situations," Di Canio told Sky Italia.
“He is too soft on the ball, he must do better. Tuchel is giving him opportunities in big games, but Lukaku has to prove something more.
“He was a crucial player for Inter's title last season, but he had similar issues sometimes.
“Chelsea paid more than €100m to sign Lukaku and must recover him. Right now, it's difficult to imagine somebody paying €100m to sign him. However, nothing is preventing him from succeeding again in the future."
