West Ham legend Paolo di Canio says Harry Redknapp saved his career.

Di Canio discussed Redknapp on West Ham Fan TV.

“He was my saviour," the 50-year-old said. "He was a fantastic manager. He smelt the business in a good way, getting Di Canio in for good money.

“I gave him the reason to do this because I paid him back.

“Between the two, I was more lucky because he gave me the opportunity to play in the claret and blue shirt."
