West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green is turning to God to get over his World Cup jitters.
The Daily Express says Green has sought the companionship and advice of club chaplain Alan Bolding, holding regular Friday meetings.
Green, who is a regular churchgoer, sees Bolding for spiritual guidance.
"After the World Cup I saw him at the club, put my arm around his shoulder and asked, how is the best keeper in the world?" said the chaplain.
"I see him mostly on a Friday and we have a little talk about things. I'd like to think that I am of some help to him."
