West Ham are in talks to sign Olympiakos midfielder Kostas Fortounis.
The Sun says the 26-year-old has been targeted in a £16million deal to bolster Manuel Pellegrini's squad for next season.
Barcelona star Andre Gomes, who was on loan at Everton for a year, could be too expensive for the Hammers.
But Fortounis is within their price range and a player highly recommended by sporting director Mario Husillos.
Husillos worked with Fortounis during his brief time at Olympiakos, with the midfielder already an established international.
Fortounis has been a regular in the last five years with the Greek giants after a spell in Germany with FC Kaiserslautern.
