Former Aston Villa midfielder Carlos Sanchez is interesting West Ham.

The Mirror says new Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is looking to make Sanchez his latest - and final - capture of the window.

Nicknamed 'The Rock', the 6ft Colombia international will provide the Hammers a solution to their defensive midfielder needs.

The 32-year-old is in talks to join from Fiorentina.

Sanchez, who has over 80 caps for his country, spent last year on loan at Espanyol.
