West Ham have offers in for three centre-halves this week.
The Daily Star says the Hammers still have an offer on the table for Burnley's James Tarkowski but are resigned to missing out on him, with Leicester the current favourites.
So they are now looking at other options - with Napoli's Nikola Maksimovic and Daniele Rugani of Juventus both on their radar.
Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah has also been considered, though no approach has yet been made for the Germany international.
But the club have now made offers for both Maksimovic and Rugani and are waiting for a response before making a final call on which to pursue.
