West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has urged fans to be patient with their summer signings.

The likes of Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca have struggled to make an impact.

“The jump is quite big when you come from a different league," said Fabianski. “Maybe not in terms of the way you play football, but the intensity is much different. That's something you always have to adjust to. And it takes time.

“It comes from playing a lot more games and experiencing the intensity, the physicality, and the strength of this league.

"It's not something that we as players really worry about because if you look at the players that have [signed this summer], and you watch them in training, you're just amazed by the quality."
