West Ham are eyeing Hamburg defender Johan Djourou.

The Switzerland international is being released by HSV at the end of this month.

BILD says offers are arriving for the former Arsenal defender, including from the Hammers.

Indeed, Djourou favours a return to London, with West Ham now regarded as favourites for his signature.

The experienced stopper started the season as captain of HSV, but found himself frozen out towards the end of the campaign after falling out with management over his contract stand-off.
