West Ham United fullback Carl Jenkinson says he's enjoyed playing for Sam Allardyce this season.

Jenkinson has been on-loan at West Ham from Arsenal.

"I have enjoyed working under the gaffer," said Jenkinson in The Sun. "Look at his record. He's done great at every club he has managed.

"The team has not finished as well as we'd have liked - but you can't point the finger at the gaffer for that.

"It's more to do with injuries in key positions and those kind of things have really hampered our form."
