Everton are new favourites for West Ham United striker Demba Ba.
The Guardian says Ba has refused a £50,000-a-week salary plus a bonus payment of £500,000 to stay at West Ham United and has now left the club possibly to join Everton, according to an executive at Upton Park.
It appears he has decided his future lies elsewhere with Ba keen to continue playing in the Premier League.
The executive said: "He was offered £50,000 a-week wages and a half a million pound signing on fee. But he decided to walk away. We think he may now sign for Everton."
