West Ham United and Everton have been weighing up a move for Matty Longstaff.
The midfielder saw his contract with Newcastle United expire last Friday.
And the Chronicle says two of Newcastle's Premier League rivals are looking at the 20-year-old midfielder.
There has also been interest from Udinese and Schalke, with the former reportedly offering Longstaff a lucrative contract package.
Longstaff made nine first-team appearances for Toon this season.
