West Ham United are continuing their strong pursuit of St Etienne's Kevin Malcuit.

The Daily Mirror reports that the Hammers are desperate to lure the 25-year-old right-back to East London in the summer.

West Ham reportedly went after Malcuit in January but were unsuccessful in their chase.

However, it is understood that Slaven Bilic is keen to strengthen his backline as Sam Byram and Alvaro Arbeloa have failed to impress on the right side of defence, forcing him to use Michail Antonio and Cheikhou Kouyate in that position.
