West Ham United have dismissed reports that Chelsea have submitted their first bid for Declan Rice.

The midfielder has long been linked with a move to Chelsea, who released him from their youth system as a 15-year-old.

And according toSky Sports journalist Angelo Mangiante, the Blues have contacted West Ham with a £50m offer for the England international.

However, football.london refutes those claims and reports they are wide of the mark.

The Hammers want Rice at the club for many years to come and it would take a monumental bid to change their mind.

£50m won't cut it for the Blues if they want their man and they may have to go back to the drawing board now for alternatives.
