West Ham defender Reece Oxford remains on the radar of Borussia Monchengladbach chief Max Eberl.
Oxford spent part of last season at Gladbach and is ready to leave West Ham next month in search of regular first team football.
The youngster has been linked with Everton, while German media sources say Eberl has also left the door open to a return after comments last night.
"Our squad is well positioned in terms of both quality and quantity," he said. "That's why as it stands today, we're not planning a new signing."
It's suggested Eberl was giving himself some wriggle room by refusing to deny they could still be active over the winter market.
