West Ham defender Thilo Kehrer is backing Thomas Tuchel for success with Bayern Munich.

The former Chelsea manager replaced Julian Nagelsmann on Friday after his sacking at Bayern.

Kehrer played for Tuchel at PSG and has no doubt Bayern made the right call.

"I learned a lot from him and I've improved," he said. "I can only say positive things about him as a person and as a coach. I'm convinced he will do well with Bayern Munich also."

Germany international Kehrer left PSG for the Irons last summer.
