West Ham United defender James Collins has hailed the recent form of goalkeeper Adrian.

Adrian has kept four clean sheets in a row as West Ham have taken 10 points from a possible to 12 to move away from the relegation zone.

Collins said: "Adrian was great for us. We have to thank him because we got done a couple of times on the break and could quite easily have been two goals down.

"He's paid to make saves, though, and that's what he has done.

"The pressure is never off until you reach the sacred 40 points and we're still only four points off the bottom three but this was a massive result.

"I only got on the end of the cross because I was late going up for the free-kick. I heard the goalkeeper coming and when I heard the shout I thought, 'if I get anything on this it's an open net'."
