West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell says he'll be stronger for recovering from his knee injury.
Cresswell was key member of the Hammers' defence last season and was on course to fulfil a similar role for Slaven Bilic's side this term, only to damage his knee ligaments in late July.
"It's part and parcel of football and something I'll learn from," he told the club's official website.
"It makes you stronger - I know it's an old cliche but it definitely does.
"When I first got diagnosed it was four months plus but as time goes on you can never put a number on it.
"I've progressed well, the injury has healed well and we've got good physios. They've helped me get through and the knee feels better by the day."
