West Ham United have cooled talk of signing Manchester United and Real Madrid legend David Beckham.
The midfielder, 38 in May, was linked with a move to the club after attending their FA Cup tie against his former club Manchester United with his family on Saturday.
But West Ham have moved quickly to quash rumours that Beckham, who ended his five-year association with LA Galaxy last month, will be joining them.
"Lots of clubs are bound to be linked with David Beckham but he won't be coming to West Ham," a club source told the London Evening Standard.
