West Ham United are in pursuit of Monaco centre-back Aymen Abdennour.

The Hammers are showing considerable interest in the 25-year old Tunisia international who reported for pre-season training with Monaco on Monday.

According to his agent, Abdennour is on the radar of the Hammers while Liverpool and some Italian clubs are also showing considerable interest.

"They (West Ham) are one of the interested parties, like Milan, Inter, Juventus and Liverpool," his representative Abdelkader Jilani told Spanish newspaper AS.

It is also believed that Newcastle United are keen while Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked in the past.
