West Ham United have confirmed the upcoming absence of left back Ryan Fredericks.
The 27-year-old experienced problems in the team's 4-0 win over Wolves, coming off with an apparent hamstring injury.
He later had a scan, and it revealed he will be out for at least the coming games.
Fredericks could be back after the October international break, per the club.
"Ryan felt discomfort in his left hamstring while supporting an attack during Sunday's win and was unable to carry on," West Ham head of medical, Richard Collinge, said.
"He underwent a preliminary examination on Sunday evening before undergoing a scan at hospital on Monday afternoon.
"The results of that scan confirmed our initial prognosis and he has already begun a programme of rehabilitation.
"Should everything go to plan, we hope Ryan will be available for selection again after the October international break."
