West Ham United coach Ian Hendon was pleased for Mladen Petric after their friendly loss to Charlton Athletic.
The Croatian was on the scoresheet in the 4-2 defeat.
"Petric has played 90 minutes against Charlton, we want to get him match fit and he's edging towards that now," he told whufc..com. "Like you say, it was a good finish, a good header at the far post and nice for him to get on the scoresheet.
"George Moncur has come on and scored, he looked bright when he came on. But it was mainly about the seniors getting minutes under their belts, the likes of Joe Cole, Stewart Downing got another hour each. They'll have a bit of a recovery day tomorrow and then the weekend off."
