Steve Clarke is set to become the highest paid lieutenant in the Premier League.
The Sun says Gianfranco Zola and Clarke will sign new mega-bucks four-year deals next week.
West Ham boss Zola has agreed a £1.6million- a-year contract, while Clarke will become the Premier League's highest paid assistant with a £1m wage packet.
The pay days are the former Chelsea pair's reward for turning the Hammers into European contenders in their first season.
