Besiktas coach Slaven Bilic is under consideration at West Ham United.
The Mail on Sunday says Bilic, who played for the club for 18 months in the Nineties, has impressed at Turkish side Besiktas this season, defeating Liverpool and Tottenham in the Europa League and running the country's biggest clubs Fenerbahce and Galatasaray close in the domestic league.
West Ham director of football Tony Henry is expected to sound out candidates, including Bilic, at the end of the season.
The club's owners David Sullivan and David Gold are encouraged that the Croatian is used to working as a coach and leaving transfer negotiations to others.
