West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola was happy with teenager Freddie Sears in this week's Carling Cup defeat to Watford.
"Freddie has done very well," said Zola.
"Unfortunately he missed a couple of chances against Watford but he did well.
"We can't be too demanding on him, but I am pleased with the way he tried to play. He is going to get better and I'm sure he is going to have a bright future."
