West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini admits Andriy Yarmalenko's howling miss yesterday left him stunned.
The Ukraine attacker blew a big chance to earn the three points against Chelsea for Sunday's 0-0 draw.
Yarmolenko headed wide from inside the six-yard box when unmarked with 14 minutes left and Sunday's game at the London Stadium ended goalless.
West Ham boss Pellegrini said: “Maybe it seemed easier to score than miss."
He added: “Yes a first clean sheet, so that shows the team has worked harder. In that sense, I'm happy. But when you have such clear chances against a big team, you must score at least one of them. You must score."
