West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has revealed he's tried to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Charles Aránguiz.
The Mexico international is willing to leave Bayer this summer, with interest arriving from clubs across Europe.
Pellgrini admits he's made contact with Aranguiz about a move to London stadium, though revealed to El Mercurio: "I tried to get Aránguiz to West Ham, but he did not want to."
Aránguiz, 30, has been with Bayer since 2015 and has a year to run on his current deal.
The midfielder has given management little encouragement regarding new contract talks.
