West Ham boss Moyes: O'Neil has done a brilliant job for Bournemouth

West Ham boss David Moyes feels momentum is with them facing Bournemouth tomorrow.

West Ham go into the game on the back of reaching the Europa Conference League semifinal.

Moyes said, "I think Gary O'Neil has done a brilliant job for Bournemouth, he really has. "Most people might have seen Bournemouth as one of the teams who could get relegated, but I've got to say I see the opposite.

"I see a really good team that Bournemouth have got, I think they are just about safe if you ask me, and I think he's done a really good job.

"We're in a group that's still fighting to get the points.

"The reason I give Bournemouth that title [of about safe] is that if you look at their run-in, they've got a lot of games that I can see them picking up some points in, which at this stage of the season is important.

"To win four out of six and to win at Tottenham last week – I wouldn't say it was unexpected, but you'd have probably seen Tottenham as favourites going into the game, so I have to give them a lot of credit for how they're doing.

"Whether you're fighting for titles, or trying to stay out of the bottom end of the league, at this point in the season you have to find a way of picking up some momentum.

"I think Bournemouth have done it, and they've done it in a bit of style because it's not just as if they've beaten lower teams, they've had a win against Liverpool, they've beaten Tottenham and they ran Arsenal really, really close, They're showing good signs."
