West Ham boss David Moyes hailed the performance of Pablo Zabaleta for their FA Cup defeat of Gillingham.
The veteran struck in the 2-0 triumph.
Hammers boss Moyes said: “I think what everyone knows about Zaba is his incredible professionalism, a really good player and like us all when we get older we slow up a wee bit…
“He came in the dressing room and was joking: 'I've had to bail you had to again! I'm 35 and you still need me!' He was having a bit of craic with the players, the players were all cheering him and then started chanting: 'one more year!'
“I think that first and foremost, if we can stop conceding goals then we will go and win games.
"We've got attacking players capable of scoring goals but the biggest thing is getting them all to do it and the players have been really good in terms of effort.
“This was different, this was a game that was tough, I've played here, managed here and it's a tough place to come and play.
"We didn't get the ball down enough in the first half, did it much better in the second half and overall I'm pleased with the way it's gone."
