West Ham boss Moyes empathises with Pardew over scheduling

West Ham United manager David Moyes believes that his opposite number Alan Pardew has legitimate criticisms about the Christmas fixtures.

Pardew was very unhappy at how the games were scheduled for his side, West Brom, and claimed it gave his side no chance to properly prepare for this game.

Despite the lack of preparation, West Brom gave a great account of themselves at the Olympic Stadium, and it took a 94th minute winner from Andy Carroll to split the two teams.

And Moyes spoke about Pardew's criticisms of fixture lists after the game.

"If I was Alan Pardew I would be completely disappointed with the way it has been set up for them. We play again in two days, but at least Tottenham are in the same position," said Moyes.
