West Ham boss David Moyes: We're well prepared for Doncaster

West Ham boss David Moyes says they're in the FA Cup to win it.

The Irons meet Doncaster Rovers in the fourth round on Saturday.

"I want to win the FA Cup if I can, I really do," said Moyes.

"I want to be strong in the cup competitions but I've also got to be mindful on the amount of games we're playing.

"We've been good with injuries and I want to keep it that way at the moment. I'll use the squad of players but my intention is to be as strong as I feel I can be for this game.

"We have to beat Doncaster before we get any further. The journey you normally have to go on to win the FA Cup is normally a long and difficult one.

"We're sort of in a period similar to Christmas, so it'll be impossible for all the clubs to play all the players all the time in all the games. It is such a busy period. We're all mindful of it and hopefully we can get to the final, but the job now is to beat Doncaster."

He added: "Since the draw was made, we've probably watched Doncaster three times. With respect, not all the players will know all of Doncaster's, so we'll have to make them aware of their threats.

"They're doing very well in the league and they've got a manager with Premier League experience, so we know we're in for a really tough day. We even saw it in Stockport the other day - there's always something that makes a team do well in a division - so we'll give Doncaster the same respect as any Premier League team."
