West Ham boss David Moyes admits he wants to buy this month.

Moyes wrote in his match programme notes for their draw with Everton about the need to strengthen this month.

He said, "When you come to a club, you need some time to assess exactly what the playing priorities are and, if we can, we will add to the squad this month.

"What I would like to do is sign players who, we feel, can have a value for us, whether that is in the team now or in the future."
