Slaven Bilic is fully aware his struggling West Ham team need a result from Saturday's Premier League clash against Liverpool.
"I know the situation," Bilic said. "And of course I spoke with the chairman after that game [against Crystal Palace] like I speak to him after every game and he didn't have to tell me what position I am in or we are in.
"That means that we need something from our next game and that game is on Saturday against Liverpool.
"Of course I do [need something from the game].
"If you are talking about my position I know because it has been there for quite a time now and every win, even in the cup but especially in the league, will take me – or us – out of that position and closer to a comfortable position.
"Every bad result, or the points you are not taking puts me or the team in a worse position, but I don't divide it, my position or the team position we are all in the same boat and I know that my job is to look after the team against Liverpool."
