West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is looking to Marco Borriello to fill the void left by Andy Carroll's suspension.
Allardyce wrote in the London Evening Standard: "For the moment, we will be without Andy for the next three games and that presents opportunities for other players in the squad. We know what Carlton Cole can do and he is fit and raring to go.
"We also know the quality of Marco Borriello in Italy but he has only just arrived and the Premier League is different from Serie A. Now he will unquestionably get his chance to prove to West Ham fans his undoubted pedigree."
