West Ham and Everton battle for Barcelona striker Braithwaite

West Ham United and Everton are showing interest in Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite.

The Danish striker arrived at Barca in February, due to the injury situation at the Catalan giants.

But he is unlikely to play much as first-teamers are close to full fitness, and the club are likely to sign an attacker in the transfer window.

Mundo Deportivo says the 25-year-old will move on in the summer window, and several Spanish clubs want to buy him.

Those teams include Real Valladolid, Real Sociedad and Sevilla.

But they may not have the financial power to meet Barca's demands of a £16 million fee.

That puts Everton and West Ham in the box seat, as Premier League clubs are significantly richer.

Everton also have a good relationship with Barca, per the source, due to recent transfers between the two clubs.
