Dundee United midfielder Stuart Armstrong is on West Bromwich Albion's radar.

The Express & Star says West Brom's Scottish contacts could see them join the scramble for Armstrong, who is earning rave reviews for Dundee United.

The 22-year-old has also been linked to Premier League rivals Hull City, along with Glasgow Celtic in his homeland and Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

The Baggies' Scottish scout Stuart Millar was north of the border last weekend to watch Armstrong play for Dundee United against Aberdeen.
