West Bromwich Albion are close to finalising the signing of Diafra Sakho from West Ham United in a £15m deal, according to The Guardian.
The Senegal striker, who struggled with injuries last season, arrived at West Ham from Metz in a £3.5m deal two years ago but the 26-year-old has been desperate to seal his exit from the London club, handing in a transfer request last season.
The report adds that the arrival of Sakho, who should become an Albion player by the end of the week, will allow the Baggies to sell Saido Berahino.
Stoke City and Crystal Palace have already submitted bids for the 22-year-old, who has only one year left on his current contract at The Hawthorns.
