West Bromwich Albion are in talks with free agent Georgios Samaras.

The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies have discussed terms over a potential move to The Hawthorns with the 29-year-old, who can play centrally or wide.

Samaras is without a club following an emotional exit from Celtic at the end of his Parkhead contract.

Malaga have already spoken to the player, who has been in Spain for talks over a potential move to the La Liga club.
