West Bromwich Albion have taken action against their defender Gonzalo Jara.

The Sun says the Baggies have "severely disciplined" Jara following his drink-driving conviction.

Chile star Jara, 25, was banned from driving for 17 months.

A Baggies spokesman said: "All our players have a duty to set the right example."
