West Brom striker Jay Rodriguez has denied racially abusing Brighton defender Gaetan Bong.

Rodriguez is facing a minimum five game ban after being charged by the FA with racially abusing Bong.

Rodriguez has protested his innocence but now the FA have charged him there will be a big onus on them to prove the case as charges largely end up with being proven.

In the aftermath of the charge, he tweeted: "Absolutely gutted and in disbelief at the situation I find myself in. I 100% deny the false allegation and will take the correct legal advice to prove my innocence."
