West Bromwich Albion striker Simon Cox is a target for Reading.
Royals boss Brian McDermott wants to take Cox on-loan to the end of the season.
The Baggies forward would arrive as a replacement for West Ham United target Shane Long.
However, Cox may take some persuading as he attempts to re-establish himself at the Hawthorns this season.
