West Bromwich Albion are stepping up talks for Burkina Faso forward Prejuce Nakoulma.
The Express & Star says Albion are turning to the free after failing to talk down AS Monaco's price for Emanuele Riviere.
Polish champions Legia Warsaw, now managed by Henning Berg, are also eyeing Nakoulma, who has also netted four times in 16 appearances for his country.
Albion need reinforcements in the wide and forward areas after the departures of loanees Scott Sinclair, Morgan Amalfitano, Matej Vydra, Thievy Bifouma and Goran Popov at the end of last season.
