West Bromwich Albion are keeping caretaker boss James Shan in charge for now.

Shan took over from Darren Moore after the latter was sacked, following a few unpleasant results.

However, Sky Sports News reports that a permanent boss will not be appointed for the rest of this season.

It is likely that Shan will take the club to the end of the season, with a reassessment then.

West Brom are 4th in the Championship, 11 points ahead of the nearest team outside the playoffs.
