West Brom's Olsson keen to put poor performances away

West Brom defender Jonas Olsson says he wants the team to put recent poor performances behind them.

Despite a reasonably good start to their season in the Championship, the Baggies have dropped games they shouldn't have (namely a 3-1 defeat at Barnsley) and the Swede is determined for those bad results to be rectified.

"Against Crystal Palace at home we didn't play our best but I don't think we deserved to lose that one, we lost by a scrappy goal, 1-0," Olsson told the Birmingham Mail.

"I think Barnsley is the only game that we performed really badly in and deserved to lose - it's part of a season of 46 games, you cannot win them all.

"I think it is expected that you are going to lose games but the way we lost against Barnsley, that is not acceptable - we need to improve on that.

"You know in 46 games you are going to lose a few but you can lose in different ways and you're always going to have bad days, football-wise and technical-wise, when passing doesn't feel right.

"The Barnsley performance is not something that I think will happen again this season."
