West Bromwich Albion has rejected a bid of £10m from Leicester City for defender Jonny Evans.

According to Sky Sports, the Baggies are not keen to depart with their vice-captain, having seen skipper Darren Fletcher leave for Stoke City at the beginning of the month.

The 29-year old made over 100 appearances for Manchester United before moving to the Midlands in 2015.

Evans currently has two years remaining on his contract.

However, Leicester has had a bid for Hull City defender Harry Maguire accepted, with the 24-year old in discussion with the Foxes over personal terms.
