West Bromwich Albion are pulling the plug on the possibility of appointing Chris Wilder as manager.
The former Sheffield United man was the man the Baggies had wanted to replace departed manager Sam Allardyce.
Following their relegation from the Premier League, West Brom want a manager that can get them straight back into the top flight from the Championship.
According to Football Insider, executives at the club have major reservations about appointing Wilder.
They are now looking at other candidates, even though the possibility of signing Wilder had appealed to West Brom fans.
