Brentford, Fulham blow chance as West Brom promoted to the Premier League

West Bromwich Albion have won promotion to the Premier League after a dramatic final day of matches in the Championship.

The Baggies might have blown their chance with a 2-2 draw at home to Queens Park Rangers.

However, Fulham were only able to draw with Wigan and Brentford were downed at home by Barnsley.

Brentford and Wigan will now complete in the play-offs, alongside Cardiff City and Swansea City.

As it stands Wigan, Charlton and Hull City are relegated to League One.

The Latics have been deducted 12 points due to falling into administration, however they have appealed that decision.

That means Barnsley could still be relegated if the appeal is upheld.

The Championship play-off's begin on Sunday July 26.
