Liverpool have reportedly given striker Rickie Lambert permission to commence discussions with West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City about a potential switch.
The Reds have reportedly told Lambert they will not stand in his way should the striker wish to complete a move elsewhere.
Lambert is set to drop further down the Liverpool pecking order following the imminent signing of Christian Benteke from Aston Villa.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Reds will be looking to recoup the majority of the £4.5million they outlaid to sign the 33-year-old from Southampton last summer.
It is understood West Brom a considering a bid in the vicinity of £3million while Norwich are also showing significant interest as they prepare to return to the top flight.
