West Brom have dismissed reports that they are to make a £2.5million bid for Leicester's Matty Fryatt. It was claimed that the Baggies were keen to sign the ex-Walsall striker and would be testing Leicester's resolve with a New Year bid.

But those reports were wide of the mark, reports the Birmingham Mail.

The Baggies have no interest in Fryatt.
