West Brom boss Tony Pulis has denied making an approach for Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong.

The Baggies have been strongly linked with the 25-year-old recently, but Pulis has confirmed that the Midlands club is yet to make a move for the player.

He said: "We've not made an approach to Celtic. I've not rung Brendan up. If I was going to do anything I'd ring Brendan first."
